Helix Mobile Updates is a recurring text messaging program that provides you with customer care and promotional information about your personal installment loan status and options.
Following is information about how the program works and we handle your data in connection with this program.
Messages are recurring and may be sent up to five times per month, depending on loan status.
Messages will confirm your opt-in or opt-out from our text messaging program, or may include notifications about:
- Return to complete your loan application
- Transfer of your funds
- Tips for managing your loan account through your online Client Portal
- Confirmation when your loan is paid off
- When you’re eligible to apply for additional funds
- How to obtain a new payment plan if needed
The Information We Collect and How We Collect It
When you apply for a loan, we collect the phone number that you provided in your application. We ask for your consent to send text messages about your loan status and our products and services to the phone number provided during the application process. Consent to our text messaging program is not required to apply for a loan or to receive funding.
Your phone number is never sold. In the event your account becomes delinquent, your phone number may be transferred to a third-party collection agency, but will not be used to send text messages.
How to Opt Out
You may opt out from our text messaging program at any time by responding STOP to any of our messages, after which you will not receive further messages. Additional details for opting out from our messages can be found in our SMS Terms of Service.
